Round table discussion; introductions, what everyone uses Perl for, what people want to learn

Christopher Wee and David Laulusa may have a meeting location for SVPerl in Santa Clara

Once we have a better meeting location, we can invite speakers. Also mini-talks on our own projects. Coding sessions were also suggested.

  • Joe Saunders - Perl/TCL inter-language interface module (main topic)
  • David Laulusa - continuous integration with Smoulder (main topic)
  • David Laulusa - how to write unit tests (main topic)
  • Ian Kluft - Webfetch, OpenID, etc (some main topics, some 10min topics)

  • Perl debugging (more than Larry Wall's preference for print) what's new

Next month - tentatively David Laulusa - still picking topic

Group consensus was to change meeting time to 7PM. 90 minute meeting, hard limit to be out by 9PM.
