Vote on What day of the month should SVPerl meet?

What is your preference for when SVPerl's monthly meetings should be held?

This poll is to collect input on scheduling preferences for SVPerl monthly meeting times. When scheduling a meeting like this, no single time can possibly work for everyone. But with some input from the participants, we hope to get enough info to pick a time that works well for as many as possible. Having a list of ranked choices allows the organizers some flexibility if meeting venues can't accomodate the most popular time.

The "None of These" option gets special treatment. You don't have to use it. If you use it, it should be only as your last choice. It allows you to make a statement that other items which you have not voted for are unacceptable, or "worse than nothing at all". Anything in the ranked results which comes after "none of the above" is considered to have been eliminated.

We're presuming these will be weekday evening meetings, including only Monday through Thursday. Some times have been removed due to known schedule conflicts with other meetings that key participants attend. 2nd Mondays (SJC Airport Commission), 2nd Thursdays (SVWUX - Silicon Valley Wireless Users & eXperimenters) and 3rd Wednesdays (SJ RACES, RHVAA) have been removed.

Cast Your Vote

This is a preference vote. Use the number "1" for your first choice, "2" for your second choice, and so on. Leave blank any items you do not wish to cast a vote for.

You may not use the same number more than once. If you skip any numbers by accident, it will simply take your choices in increasing numerical order.

Use "1" for your first choice, "2" for your second choice, and so on. Leave entries blank if you do not wish to cast a vote for them.

Tips:

You can change your vote by voting again with the same address.
Leave blank any choices you find unacceptable. Here's why:
- If your choice is eliminated, your vote will be transferred to your next choice.
- If your choice wins by a greater margin than needed, a fraction of your vote will be transferred to your next choice.
Most polls should have a "none of the above" option - you may choose it at any point to state that you find other choices unacceptable.

This poll uses the "Single Transferable Vote" method via the Vote::STV module written in Perl.
